1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Slab Advisor. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“you” or “user”) and Slab Advisor LLC (“Slab Advisor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Washington State limited liability company.

By creating an account or using the Slab Advisor website and application (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Slab Advisor is a platform for trading card game (TCG) collectors that currently supports Pokemon trading cards, with plans to expand to additional TCGs in the future. The Service provides:

• Card collection management and organization
• AI-powered card identification and pricing
• AI-powered card grading (pre-grading assessment)
• Portfolio valuation and market tracking
• Physical product sales through scheduled drops and Easter Egg discoveries

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. Payments

4.1 What Is Free

Creating an account is free, and there is no paid membership or subscription. Browsing and searching cards, scanning and identifying cards, building your collection and binders, portfolio tracking, and eligibility for product drops and Easter Egg discoveries are all included at no cost. Card scanning is subject to a daily limit to prevent abuse.

The only things you pay for are AI grading credits and any physical products you choose to buy.

4.2 Credits and Credit Packs

AI-powered card grading is paid for with credits. One credit covers one AI grade. New accounts receive two credits at signup, and additional credits can be purchased in packs. Credits are:

• Non-refundable once purchased
• Non-transferable between accounts
• Valid for as long as your account remains active, and they do not expire

4.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your payment card details.

5. Physical Product Sales

Slab Advisor offers physical trading card products for sale through scheduled drops and Easter Egg discoveries. By purchasing a physical product, you agree to the following:

• All physical product sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds.
• Products are shipped to the address provided during checkout
• We currently ship within the United States only
• You may complete one physical product purchase per rolling 30-day period, counted across scheduled drops and Easter Egg discoveries combined
• Product availability is limited. Drops are offers to purchase at the listed price, not prizes or giveaways, and no payment is ever required to become or remain eligible
• Offers are allocated among account holders who have signed in within the preceding 30 days, selected at random. No purchase or payment affects eligibility or selection

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including card images, collection data, and profile information (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Slab Advisor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Slab Advisor LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

8. Trademark Disclaimer

Slab Advisor is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Pokemon Company, Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., or any trading card game manufacturer or publisher. All trademarks, card images, product names, and intellectual property related to Pokemon and other trading card games are the property of their respective owners.

Slab Advisor is an independent third-party tool for collection management, pricing, and grading assistance. It is not an official product or service of any card game publisher. Any use of third-party trademarks is for identification and informational purposes only.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Circumvent any security features, rate limits, or access controls
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
• Upload malicious content, including viruses or harmful code
• Use the Service to infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights

10. AI Grading Disclaimer

Slab Advisor's AI-powered grading feature provides estimated pre-grades for informational purposes only. These grades are:

• Generated by artificial intelligence and are not a substitute for professional grading services (such as PSA, BGS, CGC, or SGC)
• Advisory in nature and may not reflect the grade a professional grading company would assign
• Subject to limitations based on image quality, lighting, and other factors

We make no guarantees or warranties regarding the accuracy of AI-generated grades. You should not rely solely on AI grades for purchasing, selling, or insuring trading cards.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Market pricing data, portfolio valuations, and card identification results are provided for informational purposes only and may not be accurate, complete, or current. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information provided by the Service.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SLAB ADVISOR LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slab Advisor LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington State.

15. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting us at the email address below. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may proceed with formal legal action in accordance with Section 14.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Any unused credits become unusable along with the account and are not refunded
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) shall survive

You may delete your account at any time through the account settings page.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Affiliate Links and Advertising Disclosure

Slab Advisor participates in affiliate advertising programs. Some links on the Service — including the “Shop on TCGPlayer” and “Shop on eBay” buttons and the shopping links shown on card, set, and product pages — are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the merchant.

We currently participate in the following programs:

• eBay Partner Network — affiliate links to eBay searches and listings
• TCGplayer, through the Impactaffiliate network — affiliate links to TCGplayer product, set, and category pages

Affiliate links never cost you anything extra. Any commission is paid to us by the merchant out of its own margin; the price you pay is the same as it would be if you had gone to that merchant directly. We also display a short disclosure next to shopping links inside the Service.

Our affiliate relationships do not influence the pricing data, portfolio valuations, or AI grades we show you. We are not paid to feature any particular card, set, or product, and the presence of a shopping link is not a recommendation to buy.

Participating in an affiliate program is an advertising arrangement only. It does not make Slab Advisor an agent, partner, or representative of eBay or TCGplayer, and it does not change the trademark disclaimer in Section 8. Any purchase you make on a merchant's site is a transaction between you and that merchant, governed by that merchant's terms, pricing, shipping, and return policies — not by these Terms or our Refund Policy. We are not responsible for the products, listings, sellers, availability, or customer service of any third-party merchant.
